KATHMANDU: A new case of swine flu death has been reported in Nepal.

Joint Secretary at the National Planning Commission Bhawa Krishna Bhattarai died of the influenza caused by A(H1N1) virus at the Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu on Tuesday morning.

Bhattarai, who had recently returned to Nepal from the US, was admitted to the hospital about seven days ago, according to a source at the hospital.
