DHANGADHI: Three persons died of Japanese encephalitis while receiving treatment at different hospitals in Kailali district.
Nine persons were admitted to the Tikapur Hospital after taken ill due to the Japanese encephalitis, a disease that transfers through the bites of the culex female mosquitoes. According to the District Public Health Office, Kailali, two persons died while undergoing treatment at the Tikapur Hospital while next one died while at the Seti Zonal Hospital, Dhangadhi.

Japanese Encephalitis deaths of four children

Maharajganj: Japanese Encephalitis four children were killed and dozens of children were referred to Kathmandu. Whose condition is described as critical. Over fifty patients including children are admitted.
Mkwanpur mountainous region of Nepal, fever and body aches from the scorching heat of the disease is spreading rapidly in children. Yuvraj, Vipin Pakin, Sangeeta, Suvedi union four children died from lack of timely treatment.
