Director: Spike in number, timing of deaths 'unusual'

GULFPORT -- Officials with the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies are seeing more dead baby dolphins, and they aren't sure why.

In the last month, 13 dead dolphins have been found, of which 11 were babies, said Moby Solangi, IMMS executive director.
