Montreal Students Released From Quarantine in China

BEIJING, May 8 -- Twenty-five Canadian students were released from seven days in quarantine in northwest China on Friday.
The group was isolated when it arrived in Changchun, capital of Jilin Province, on May 2, the same day Canada confirmed 51 cases of A/H1N1 flu.
Soundbite: Reporter of Xinhua ?Here at this hotel in Changchun, Jilin Province, today, 25 Canadian students will be released from quarantine, which they began on May 2.?
None of the students had shown any symptoms of the A/H1N1 influenza virus for which they were isolated.
They were sent to a hotel near Jingyuetan National Forest Park for medical observation after they arrived from Canada.

The Canadian students were invited to visit Jingyuetan National Forest Park this morning.
They are on an exchange program between University of Montreal and Northeast Normal University. They will spend two and a half months living with Chinese families.
