Monoclonal antibodies against Avian Flu
12/09/2007
HyTest is offering anti-avian influenza virus type A strain H5N1 monoclonal antibodies (MAbs). Hybridoma clones were derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells with splenocytes and lymphocytes of Balb/c mice immunized with avian influenza H5N1.
Screening of MAb producing clones was performed by Hemagglutinin Inhibition (HI) test and indirect ELISA. Isolated MAbs react with surface protein of influenza A virus, hemagglutinin H5. MAbs are applicable in HI test, indirect ELISA and Dot blot.
