نفى التقرير اليومى الصادر عن مركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار التابع لمجلس الوزراء ما أشيع على أحد مواقع شبكة الإنترنت عن وجود تعليمات للأطباء بالتعتيم على الحالات المصابة بفيروس أنفلونزا A/H1N1، وأنه فى حالة حدوث وفاة بالفيروس يتم إرجاع ذلك لأى أسباب أخرى، وأشار التقرير إلى أن هذا الحديث ليس له أساسا من الصحة، وأن وزارة الصحة والغرفة المركزية بمركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار يتعاملان مع الأزمة بكل شفافية، دون إخفاء أى معلومات أو بيانات على الرأى العام بخصوص حالات الإصابة أو حالات الوفاة، وهو ما دعا إلى إصدار بيانات إعلامية يومية منذ بداية الأزمة لكافة وسائل الإعلام تقوم بمتابعة موقف المرض وتطوراته وتقدم الإرشادات والمعلومات للمواطنين أولاً بأول.
