Confirmed the first death from H1N1 in Minas Gerais, this year. The victim is a woman of 43 years, Nepomuceno, in the south of Minas, who died on Sunday night (10) in Baependi Hospital. The death certificate indicates death from acute renal failure and multiple organ failure. The case was confirmed by the Regional Superintendent of Health of Varginha.
There are four other suspected cases in Nepomuceno. Two people are hospitalized in the city's Santa House. The materials gathered from these patients have been referred to the Ezequiel Dias Foundation. Another patient was discharged on the morning of Monday (11). The orientation is for the population to resume hygiene habits that were practiced during the outbreak in 2009.
According to the State Health Secretariat of Minas Gerais since the beginning of the year has received 107 reports of suspected cases of H1N1 influenza. The housewife Ana Cl?udia Evangelista dos Santos was 43 and lived in Nepomuceno. She was admitted to the emergency room of the city on July 2 with symptoms of pneumonia.
