First hand, We use mostly powder milk, that we mix just prior to use in cooking our meals. we also use the long life milk products which are available.

I have read one other quality control study which indicated, that even after processing and packaging of dairy products in a factory environment high levels of some contaminants still existed. in many types of soft chesse, ice cream and a long list of many other products.

Milk Safety

THE Ministry of Health recently launched a national campaign for the consumption of safe milk and dairy products. The campaign aims at acquainting the public with the major threats of loose (raw) milk being consumed by the majority of the Egyptians in rural and urban areas.

The campaign was mounted after a study by Alexandria University's Faculty of Agriculture on raw milk and dairy products being sold in Cairo and Alexandria. The products proved to include an alarming percentage of harmful bacteria.
