Mumps Turns Up On Middlebury Campus

For the first time in four years, a case of the mumps is reported in Vermont.
The state Health Department reports a Middlebury College student returned from a trip abroad with the contagious virus. The student has recovered. However, there was a period of time the student was contagious. Now, the Vermont Health Department is urging all Middlebury College students and staff to get a mumps vaccination.
