CINCINNATI -- A Miami University freshman did not die from H1N1 flu, as previously reported.
Matthew Healey, 18, was a student at Miami University. He died on Sept. 26.
The Ohio Department of Health confirmed Thursday that Healey tested negative for the H1N1 virus.
Healey was from Hingham, Mass. Friends and family told WCVB in Boston last month that Healey had become ill shortly after arriving at Miami University in September.
Healey's is the second case in Butler County that was originally reported as H1N1 only to have the virus later ruled out as a cause of death.
Kimi Young, 22, died on Sept. 22. It was later determined that she died of viral pneumonia.
Young was a graduate of Miami University
