K-9 influenza kills eleven dogs in Barry County shelter

Barry County - An outbreak of K-9 influenza at the Barry County Animal Shelter has caused eleven dogs to be euthanized and the entire shelter being placed in quarantine.
Animal Control detected the outbreak on Tuesday. The facility has been decontaminated and seven more dogs are currently being treated by a veterinarian.
The Under sheriff tells us that the quarantine ends at 9:00am on Saturday and that no dogs should be dropped off at the shelter until then.
