MEXICO CITY ? Mexico has raised its H1N1 alert level because of recent, significant increased cases, reports La Opini?n. The news report mentions that since its outbreak, Mexico has seen 25,085 H1N1 cases, 220 related deaths, and 529 cases in the last week.
According to the news report, officials from Mexico?s Ministry of Health have promised to have 5 million vaccination doses by the end of October, which will be prioritized for ill and pregnant women. Also, H1N1 testing and care centers are expected to be operating throughout the country by December.
