Seniors living in personal care homes were hit hard by the flu this winter.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority says there have been 44 outbreaks of influenza-like illnesses.
Of the confirmed cases, 38 tested positive as influenza A, two of which are ongoing...
...On Feb. 21 Manitoba Health confirmed there have been a total of 1,051 cases of influenza A and 38 of influenza B.
There have been 41 flu associated deaths this year.
Since the beginning of flu season, 308 people have been hospitalized, 47 have been treated in the Intensive Care Unit...
