Man Dies from Flu in Glynn County

SAVANNAH, GA -

A third person has died as a result of the flu in the Coastal Health District of Georgia.

Officials would only say that the victim is an adult male who lived in Glynn County.

Two others in our region have died from the flu.

Both were from Chatham County.

There have been a total of 50 confirmed flu-related deaths in Georgia.

Officials say that while flu-related illness appears to be slowing in Georgia it is still a good idea to get vaccinated if you have not done so already.
