  • An intensified surveillance in accordance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code was carried out during a three-month period when the H5N2 was detected.
  • The clinical and epidemiological investigations of surrounding farms within a 3-km radius of the index duck farms (in Taichung City and Ilan County), native chicken farm (in Ilan County) and laying duck farm (in Changhua County) have been finished and no NAI case was observed or detected.
  • According to the aforementioned information, it demonstrates that the H5N2 LPAI event is resolved.
