  • An intensified surveillance in accordance with the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code was carried out during a three-month period when the H5N2 was detected.
  • Clinical and epidemiological investigations of surrounding farms within a 3-km radius of the index layer farm in Changhua County have finished (a total of 205 farms) and no NAI case was observed or detected.
  • According to the aforementioned information, the H5N2 avian influenza outbreak in Changhua County is resolved.
