Doctors: Patients getting multiple colds this winter

It's been the winter of the common cold in the New Orleans metro area, as doctors are not only seeing many cases of the common cold, but they're seeing some patients who have been infected two or three times.
Is this some kind of super virus that just won't let go?
"Viruses really run their course and typically once they're gone, they're gone from you," Dr. Priya Velu with LSU Health Sciences Center Family Medicine says, "But you may just get reinfected again. You may just be around another person that's carrying that virus."
