Secretary General of the Vietnam Red Cross stating Doan Van Thai Vietnam was selected to join the program to enhance response to emergency phase three (2009-2014) of ADPC is an opportunity for the Society for Text Red Cross in the completion of activities to prevent and respond to natural disasters and catastrophes.
The level of natural disasters in Vietnam is increasing both in scale as well as the cycle repeats, causing great damage to people, property, infrastructure and socio-economic. In addition, the process of globalization also arise ability to spread rapidly worldwide pandemic such as avian influenza H5N1, influenza H1N1.
