It was probably a function of last week being Easter week and spring break for a lot of schools, but several key states did not report last week, including IN, TX, AL, PA and a few others. These four states, in particular, are either in hotspots or have shown recent slight increases in flu activity. In addition, NM and IL lag the rest of the country by a week in their reporting schemes and both are currently important indicators as to whether there are signs of a summer wave of pH1N1.
If anyone has any media reports or other sources of data from these states, please post it. Thanks.
