The Fair Grounds announced that it will be bringing in Dr. Nathan Slovis, an expert in equine infectious diseases and biosecurity, on Tuesday to provide advice on how to deal with the recent outbreak of the EHV-1 virus among horses at the race track over the past month...
...The Fair Grounds found its first case of the EHV-1 virus in one of the horses at the track in late December and has since found six others.
