Bishkek, December 16/ Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is ready for possible outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza.
The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that, within the framework of the within the framework of Avian Influenza Control and Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project the World Bank?s mid-term evaluation mission of the project made a conclusion that the progress in implementing of the project is satisfactory.
The WB mission emphasized that activities held in the frames of the project contributed to achieving development goals of the project and Kyrgyzstan?s better preparedness for possible outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza.
Avian Influenza Control and Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project t will be completed on December 31, 2011.
