KDHE is requesting that local health departments
initiate absenteeism data collection from
schools the week of Oct. 5 and begin reporting
to KDHE using the attached protocol the week
of Oct. 12.
Therefore, the first reports to KDHE are due Tues., Oct.
13. The data collected will be included in KDHE?s weekly epidemiology
and surveillance status report. Click the epidemiology
logo to find a detailed protocol, a sample submission form,
and an example of a school absenteeism form that schools in
your county may use.
