SEOUL: Korean actor Jo Donghyeok's management agency revealed on Tuesday that the actor, who had recently completed shooting for the popular Korean drama "Brain", has been diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus on Monday, reported Korean media.
"We have cleared his schedule and he is currently resting at home," said a representative from Jo's management agency.
Jo had suffered from a fever over the weekend but brushed it off as a simple cold.
He finished working on the final episode of the drama before he found out the truth about his condition, when he visited a hospital after the early morning shoot.
The 34-year-old model-turned actor, who plays a a neurosurgeon in "Brain", made his television debut in the 2004 Korean drama "Eventful Miss Kim's making a billion won".
