KOCHI: There has been no let up in fever cases in the city with the total number of cases going up to 553 on Sunday.
There were 439 cases of OP and 14 IP cases. The number of patients down with diarrhoea was 31 and one case of leptospirosis was reported in Kakkanad. The reports mentioned earlier excluded those seeking treatment in private hospitals.� Meanwhile, the Corporation was taking steps to fight mosquito menace in West Kochi. Two cases of chikungunya, 1 case of malaria and 2 cases of diarrhoea were reported in Mattanchery.
