Upper respiratory tract infection, malaria, diarrheao, skin and eye infection are the main diseases affecting children in Laikipia county. A meeting attended by Laikipia County Steering Group and Kenya Food Security Group (KFSG) was told that the five deases are prevalent in the area . The nutrition officer in charge of Laikipia East and Laikipia Central districts, Phoebe Mwangangi told the meeting that there was an increase of measles and dysentery among the under five years in the two districts...
