A man in the Kyzylorda region after the tick bite infected with Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, according to news agency "Novosti-Kazakhstan" , citing the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
"In Shielinskom area Sulutobe village, April 25 at 5.15 pm in the district hospital as a result of an infectious tick bite with a preliminary diagnosis of Crimean-Congo fever admitted to a hospital birth in 1977," - said in a statement.
According to the department, the patient is in serious condition.
Last Friday, the diagnosis was confirmed by doctors. The hospital also was hospitalized 57-year-old friend of the patient.

CA-NEWS (KZ) - Four people got infected with Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Kyzylorda region since the beginning of 2012, the press service of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan said.
"This year such cases can be associated with the late holding of anti-mite events by local agencies, so the infection has reached 9.2%," the Health Ministry noted.
At the same time, the agency stated that, the Committee of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance has initiated preparatory work for the upcoming season of epidemiological CCHF in advance. The national seminar for professionals of sanitary services, medical organizations, and veterinary services for the regions, which are predisposed for CCHF, will be held.
Local executive bodies of Kyzylorda region annually increase funding for the tick counter measures. 7.2 million tenge ($48.6 thousand at current exchange rate) were allocated in 2008, 108.9 million tenge ($735.5 thousand) were allocated this year.
