Kamiah Elementary cancels school due to widespread illnesses

Due to widespread illness and absenteeism, officials at Kamiah Elementary have canceled classes for the remainder of the week. Superintendent Dr. Mike Bundy says illnesses began showing up late last week and have spread among both students and faculty.
The closure is only in effect for the Kamiah Elementary School. Officials say the Kamiah afterschool program KAP will also be closed until Monday when the school and classes will resume. Anyone with questions may call the district office at (208) 935-2991.
