Fall leaf colors arrive latest ever in some spots
For fall leaf watchers, it was another long wait, as maple and ginkgo leaves finally reached their maximum colors this week, due to high temperatures across the country during autumn.

Tourists, autumn leaves add color to historical train trip in Kyoto
Demachiyanagi Station in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto -- the beginning of the Eizan Railway -- is situated next to the exit of the underground station of the Keihan Electric Railway. Unlike Keihan's modern station, Eizan's station appears to be a typical terminal of a medium-sized private railway in a provincial city.
