Italian geophysicist menaces to shut down earthquakes monitoring site after users' misuse allegations.
Some italian media outlets are spreading a worrying statement made by professor Enzo Boschi, an expert of the National Institute of Vulcanology (INGV-CNT).
An article is just appeared on the site of the 'Il Corriere della Sera' daily newspaper web site (http://www.corriere.it/cronache/10_...to_f8299d36-b9b0-11df-90df-00144f02aabe.shtml )
Professor Boschi menaced to shut down the web site where the earthquakes reports are posted regularly.
The reason is the 'misuse' of some internet blogger or sites have made of the material published, drawing wrong conclusion after a seismic swarm materialized in central italian region of Abruzzo.
Last year a powerful earthquake almost destroyed the ancient town of L'Aquila, leaving 300 deaths and billions of euros in damages.
