Bird flu outbreak at Wicklow premises

Restrictions are in place around a premises in Co Wicklow tonight after an outbreak of bird flu was confirmed in a captive flock.

This is the second confirmed outbreak in the region in recent days; there was also an outbreak recorded in Sutton in Co Dublin last week.

It is understood the outbreak in Wicklow was found in a small flock of mixed-breed birds...
