The Ministry of Agriculture on Tuesday denied the bird flu epidemic, saying that the news is part of the targeting of the national economy.
The ministry said in a statement received, Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "the news that the media reported on the incidence of bird flu cases are not valid," noting that "what these methods of the reports of photographs and alleged losses are normal and other common diseases."
The ministry added that "the veterinary authorities have taken the necessary measures to reduce them, while not recorded any epidemics in the whole ofIraq," considering that "this news is part of the targeting of the national economy, especially as Iraq is a member of the Organization of Animal Health and be informed of any epidemiological injuries within Member countries of this organization to take the necessary precautions to protect the livestock. "
