...Michael A. Mengel, 44, of Vanport Township, died Feb. 28 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Mengel's brother, Robert Mengel, confirmed that he was hospitalized with pneumonia and influenza.

Mengel is Beaver County's second flu-related fatality in a month. The state health department previously reported the death of an unidentified 62-year-old man, as well as that of a 54-year-old man in Lawrence County...more at link
