The patient had no injuries to explain the infection. He says he wasn't even walking around barefooted or doing any sort of out of the ordinary or strenuous activity. This seems to make dealing with the psychological effects of the illness more challenging.

An Indiana man is recovering at home after losing his leg to a flesh eating bacteria. It?s the same kind of bacteria that made national news in Georgia and South Carolina. His family says they want people in Indiana to know it?s here too.
