In Moscow, an outbreak of SARS and influenza
The incidence of the Moscow population of influenza and SARS epidemic have exceeded the estimated level of 21 per cent, said metropolitan governance Rospotrebnadzor. From 19 to 25 October in the city of 105 665 people fell ill, including 68 550 children.
Compared with the previous week, the number of registered diseases increased by 40.7 percent, 2216 the Muscovites, including 1,514 children who required hospitalization.

Today in Moscow was officially confirmed the first death in patients with this infection. This is the fourth death in Russia of a new human influenza.
At present, Moscow is continuing immunization citizens assigned to risk groups (health workers, teachers, people over 60 and children) against seasonal flu strains. As of October 26 vaccinations were 1 237 584 people.
