Hygiene is the most effective vaccine against influenza A H1N1
Flu doses are intended primarily for people with increased risk of complications if they acquire the virus. For other gun immunization is hygiene.

Within days or weeks, helped by the arrival of cold days, the influenza virus will begin to move actively in the environment, with high probability of recurrence of the H1N1 strain. The Paraguayans to be prepared, then, to deal with a possible second wave of influenza last year caused thousands of deaths around the world.

In this context, preventive measures at home, school and workplaces are essential to prevent the virus from spreading widely. And this is where the individual and collective responsibility plays a key role in the fight against the virus.

Last year, the habit of washing their hands frequently, using alcohol gel technique and capped with a forearm when coughing or sneezing, among others, managed to become a ritual required to mitigate the epidemic. However, with the arrival of hot days and decrease the number of cases of influenza, were left aside.

Now is the time to revive these measures, which should become a daily habit. Keep in mind that vaccines are not for everyone, but only to those who have a higher risk of complications.

That is why the rest of the population, which is the majority must resort to the best vaccine exists to prevent the flu: health and hygiene measures. These are some of them.
