From noon yesterday to noon today, the Centre for Health Protection received notification of one case which fulfilled the reporting criteria of a suspected human case of Influenza A (H7), and two cases which did not.

The former case involved a 43-year-old woman who had visited Zhejiang. She tested negative for H7 and is stable.

It brings to 10 the total number of notifications of cases fulfilling the reporting criteria the centre has received since March 31. It has also received 21 notifications of cases which did not fulfil the reporting criteria.

No confirmed human cases of Influenza A (H7N9) have yet been recorded in Hong Kong.
