most virus-sequences at genbank are HIV.
(then flu-A, then Hepatitis-C)
HIV is also an RNA-virus, like flu, but positive stranded
like most viruses (flu is negative)
HIV only has one big segment of ~9500 nucleotides.
With recombinations, also insertions,deletions

397 HIV-1 type C viruses, 1992-2008

I don't get these vertical lines for mutations as with flu
more sprenkled dots
