The application of the vaccine of influenza A H1N1 begin on 23 November, and among the first groups to benefit are patients with HIV, their predisposition to infection, said Jose Antonio Izazola, director of the National Center for Prevention and Control HIV-AIDS.
He recalled that the first batch of vaccine shall apply to medical personnel and treated pregnant also be people who have HIV, since this is considered in the program in response to the virus.

The World Health Organization (WHO) denied that the influenza virus A H1N1 has mutated, especially after the new cases in Ukraine, saying that after performing a series of tests determined that the virus remains the same which produced the vaccine.
Gregory Hartl, WHO spokesman, said that regardless of Ukraine, the other countries of the world must continue to monitor the development of pandemic influenza A H1N1 to determine if there is any change in the virus or it shows resistance to antivirals
