Health fears new wave of A (H1N1)

TEGUCIGALPA .- The influenza A (H1N1) snatched the lives of 16 Hondurans, and the current authorities expect 2010 to unleash a new wave of the disease.
Currently, the virus disappeared in Honduras, but fear that people from other countries arrive with the bacteria.
The virus after being native, disappeared as an epidemic and sporadic cases were only in major cities, however the disease left 16 dead and over 600 confirmed infections.
The director of the Chest Hospital, Nora Maradiaga said that in recent weeks there have been some cases of influenza A (H1N1) but are people who in his medical report that they were on holiday in the United States and returned with symptoms.
"It is true that the virus has disappeared in Honduras, but We should not neglect us again because the virus is coming from other countries, for the case in recent days we have had a patient hospitalized for severe infection of influenza A (H1N1) "he said.
She said that after the holidays are some potential new infections because there are people traveling to other nations, "the latter cases we've had are people returning from other countries and it shows that we have a possible outbreak of this disease in the next day. "
