Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Secretary Dharamvir has said that there was a need to launch an awareness drive among school and college principals about swine flu.
Inaugurating a dispensary and computer lab in the hostel wing of Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) Gurgaon, he said shutting schools was not the solution and instead parents should refrain from sending sick students to school.
Haryana has so far reported 38 positive cases of swine flu, out of which 27 have been discharged from various hospitals while 11 are still undergoing treatment.
Delhi was the first to invoke the Epidemic Disease Act to force an influential person to undergo testing and treatment for the disease, followed by Maharashtra where six persons have succumbed to swine flu. :tiphat:http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/news/india/Haryana-invokes-Epidemic-Act/articleshow/4881209.cms
