Diphtheria 88 cases 23 fatalities 18 -09 -18 25 -09 -18 Under Surveillance

Cases reported from several blocks Nagina, Nuh, Pulhana, Taoru and Jhirka. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. All the cases were children less than 11yrs of age group. Out of 62 throat swabs were collected and sent to Maharishi Valmiki Infectious Disease Hospital; 3 samples were positive for Diphtheria. All cases treated symptomatically. Health camps and immunization camps were organized. Health education given.
