FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- A city of Franklin communications technician died this week and friends and family said it was caused by the H1N1 flu virus.

Mike Lambert worked in the city's Municipal Information Technology department since January of 2003. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and ITT Technical Institute.

The city's MIT department provides the information technology and communications infrastructure for the city of Franklin.

"This is a tough day for us all. The city family is saddened by this loss," said city administrator Eric Stuckey in a press release. "Mike will be greatly missed as a father, husband, son, co-worker and friend."
