انتشرت حالة من الذعر بين المواطنين أمس خاصة فى الجامعة الأمريكية ومنطقتى الزمالك بالقاهرة والمعادى الجديدة بحلوان، بعد أن أعلنت وزارة الصحة، عن ٥ حالات جديدة بفيروس (AH١N١) المعروف بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير.​

واستقبل مستشفى حميات العباسية، ظهر أمس، المصابين الخمسة لتلقى العلاج، وقالت مصادر طبية إنه تم إعطاؤهم عقار ?تاميفلو? والمضادات الحيوية، وأصبحت حالاتهم الصحية مستقرة.​

أعلنت وزارة الصحة عن إصابة جديدة بأنفلونزا الخنازير لزوجة المهندس الذى يعمل بإحدى شركات البترول بالقاهرة، والذى أعلن عن إصابته أمس، الأربعاء، وهى كولومبية الجنسية وتبلغ من العمر 43 عاما، وكانت قادمة مع زوجها المصاب من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية يوم 7 يونيو الجارى.​

أما على مستوى منافذ الحجر الصحى على مستوى الجمهورية، فقد تم فحص خمس حالات مشتبه بإصابتهم بالمرض لمواطنين قادمين من الخارج من الكويت وأبو ظبى وتشيكوسلوفاكيا والدنمارك، وجاءت النتائج سلبية.​
