Another swine flu death in Georgia

11:31 / 01/12/2010January 12, 2010 a 27-year-old man died of swine flu in Tbilisi. It is the 19th swine flu death in Georgia, Georgian National Center for Disease Control reports.

To date, overall 1.182 A/H1N1 virus cases were registered in Georgia. The health state of five patients in hospitals is esteemed as grave.

The second wave of swine flu in Georgia is expected in February 2010.

H1N1 flu kills Young woman
Young woman died of H1N1 virus.
As the head of the National Centre of Epidemic-Monitoring Service Khatuna Zakhashvili informed ?InterPressNews? 36-year-old woman died in Kutaisi. She had been late to address the medical centre. She had the sequential decease as well.
Ten patients are still in heavy state in the medical stationeries of Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
According to the official data, the laboratory tests have proved 1235 case of virus infection among them 23 died.

18-year-old girl dies of swine flu in Georgia, death toll hits 27
18-year old girl died of swine flu Sunday night in Tbilisi, Georgia, Trend reported.

According to doctors, the girl was hospitalized three days ago, however, they were unable to save her life since she suffered chronic paralysis. A/H1N1 death toll reaches 27 in Georgia by now.

The country has recorded 1 247 swine flu cases. Currently the condition of 7 patiens is estimated as grave.

30-th patient dies of H1N1 in Georgia.

The number of the H1N1 lethal cases has reached 30 in Georgia.

A 70-year-old woman died at the Kutaisi Intervention Medical Centre yesterday. The H1N1 has been confirmed by laboratory tests. The patient had other problems of health before being infected with the swine flu. She was held in the hospital since January.

The experts expect a new wave of H1N1 in Georgia from the second half of the February.

TBILISI, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- The A/H1N1 flu death toll in Georgia has reached 31 on Monday, according to the country's Center of Disease Control.

A 32-year-old woman, who was hospitalized in the hospital of infectious diseases in Tbilisi, died from the virus, said the center.

The woman was an inhabitant of Mtskheta, about 20 km north of Tbilisi, the capital city.

The case has been laboratory-confirmed.

o far, there are 1,279 lab-confirmed A/H1N1 cases in Georgia.
