A 10-year-old girl, Gudia, reportedly succumbed to the disease yesterday. She was the second child to fall prey to the disease as many victims are still grappling with the epidemic at various hospitals across the city.

Today, as many as 110 patients were rushed to the medical camp organised by the health department at the Gurmat Gyan Missionary College located at Punjabi Bagh. As many as 266 patients have reported to the camp since yesterday.

The serious patients, 12 in number, were referred to the Civil Hospital while others were treated at the medical camp and some are still undergoing treatment at the makeshift medical camp on the Missionary College premises.
