Galveston, TX: Bank of America calls police on 65-yr-old customer not cooperating with mask rule - she ends up with broken bones and her dog is confis

This happened in Galveston, TX. The woman is a retired teacher from Oregon and her dog was traveling with her. Her camper would not fit in the drive thru. BoA should have handled this differently. They should have simply taken the woman to a private room or corner table and let her take out HER money and leave. Someone I know is considering moving a large account out of the bank because of this. Platinum Rewards aren't worth it.

Interesting. I have heard there are people who think the pandemic is not real but I have never seen an interview of someone who believes this.

Florida is also an open state. I accept this reality and I restrict myself. I know it is not the responsibility of businesses to protect me so I do it myself.

I believe - bottom line - there is an illness (call it whatever you want) that is circulating and it has a higher fatality rate than "normal" flu. I am vulnerable so I am going to take care of myself.

In my lifetime I have never seen so many healthcare workers die from the flu. Something is circulating no matter what it is called:

I think it's challenging for vulnerable people to take care of themselves when N95 masks, (real ones), are still not available for sale to the US public. Maybe that is part of why some people think the pandemic is hyped or manipulated. There are lots available - more than needed.

Newsy Investigates: Stacks of N95s Masks, No One to Buy Them
February 23, 2021
A Newsy investigation uncovers barriers making it difficult for the public to tap into a supply of extra N95s not purchased for health workers.

I agree the disease is real, but I also feel the public is being jerked around. If Bank of America really thought the woman was a health threat, they would have taken her to a table away from the lines and processed her withdrawl to get her out of there. What if this were a violent person with a weapon? It would have been a worse outcome.
