VALENCIANS (North), Nov 6, 2009 (AFP) - a 37 year old man who did not present particular pathology is deceased Friday close to Valencians of the continuations of “breathing difficulties” which could be due to the flu virus H1N1, announced the prefecture of North.
“This person, without known risk factor of complication of the influenza, presented since the day before fever and a cough. The diagnosis of influenza has (H1N1) 2009 cannot be isolated”, indicated the prefecture in an official statement. Analyses are in hand “to confirm or to cancel these first elements of diagnosis”, of the same source was specified. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 22 deaths were allotted to the H1N1 2009 in metropolis (including 18 confirmed) and 27 in the overseas territories, according to the last assessment of the National Sanitary Surveillance Institute.
