(AP) ? BURLINGTON, Vt. - The state Department of Health will hold flu prevention forums in Burlington, Rutland, Springfield and Lyndonville this month.

The first is set for 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Hilton Hotel, in Burlington. The others will be held Sept. 29 at the Rutland Holiday Inn, Sept. 30 at Springfield High School and Oct. 1 at Lyndon Institute

Co-sponsored by Vermont Emergency Management, the forums will feature state officials and public health experts discussing the state's preparations and the actions that people and communities can take to cope with the regular seasonal flu as well as swine flu.

Dr. Wendy Davis, the state health commissioner, says this flu season will be complex, and that's it's more important than ever to take precautions.
