According to the most recent reports of the Venezuelan Department of Health, the porcine flu (H1N1) reappeared in the state of Merida, place in which a new sprout of the illness exploded. The Venezuelan Government called to the calmness and clarified that it is not a question of an epidemic.
The minister of Health, Eurgenia Sader, made sure that in the last months there have been diagnosed approximately 179 cases, of which 56 have been discovered in Merida. The official moved forward that in the zone already the necessary measures of containment are taken not to allow to advance the illness.
The health centers to which the infected persons have been taken have made sure that ' they all are light cases ' and that none of the patients has had to be submitted to intensive treatments to control the flu.
The minister Sader revealed except that beyond a postpandemic, this is a small residual sprout of the illness. Nevertheless, the chief of the portfolio of Health made sure that even if in 2009 this illness should have killed about 9 thousand person and then eliminated mysteriously his danger, the world must still worry for his contagion.
' The virus H1N1 has not disappeared and we will keep on seeing cases of the illness. But now he will begin to behave as a virus of seasonal flu and will keep on circulating for several years more ', he said also the World Organization of the Health with regard to the topic.
For the time being they do not know each other of patients died in Venezuela by this new sprout in Merida.
