Tallahassee?The Florida Department of Health in Leon County (DOH-Leon) and the Leon County School Board today announced that they have confirmed a case of tuberculosis (TB) at Amos P. Godby High School, located at 1717 West Tharpe Street. Because of confidentiality laws, the patient cannot be identified.

Parents, students, faculty and staff will be notified today of the case. With the help of the Leon County School Board, DOH-Leon has begun identifying the people who might have been exposed to this individual and will contact those at risk within a week for free testing. Clinics will be set up at the school. The dates and times will be announced as soon as they are available...
